1) Nainital

Objectives:

Adventure activities to build courage, stamina and self-confidence.

Chanellize energies of the youth towards healthy and value-added activities

National and International integration through community living and cultural education.
Learning Equality and Diversity (as no restriction due to Caste, Creed, Religion or beliefs)

Self Development and spiritual up liftment through meditation, workshops on health, nutrition,
character building, Yoga and Integral Education from Sri Aurobindo and The Mother.

Activities:

Basic Rock Climbing: Training in rock-scramblling, tying on knots and hitches,
rock climbing with safety provided by belay, rappelling and river crossing.
Certificates are awarded to successful participants.

Trek: Gradually build up stamina starting with 4 km to ending with 16 km to Kainichi.
Other scenic treks include Land's End, Hanuman Mandir scenic spot on Ayarpatta Hill,
Dorothy Seat/Tiffin Top, Jungle trek to Sri Aurobindo Peak, Snow view and lofty Naina Peak.

Campsite:

Camps are held at VAN NIWAS ( Himalayan Centre of Sri Aurobindo Ashram - Delhi Branch) Bara Panthar, Nainital,
in the KUAMOAN HIMALAYAS of uttarkhand. Van Niwas is picturesquely situated at height of 7400ft
on a very top of a hill in serene retreat nestling among the Himalayan peaks surrounded by trees and forests
a place for contemplation, peace and quiet.

2) Madhuban - CAMP SITE:

* Madhuban is situated at a height of 5000 ft above a picturesque village in the Kumaon range of the Himalayas. Madhuban is the place where the beekeeping association of India took birth more than 50 years ago. The property was offered to the Ashram by a devotee in 2003 and is still in the process of being developed. The entire of valley of Talla Ramgarh is a basin of fruit orchards and can best be enjoyed during the fruit season in July and August, which happens also to be the rainy season. Madhuban campsite is situated on a fruit orchard of about 30 acres and is one of the extensions of Sri Aurobindo Ashram – Delhi Branch.

LODGING: Twelve double and four single rooms with bath and toilet attached, are available with complete bedding. We also have three 6-bedded dormitories in case of pressure on the camps. The seats will be allotted on a First come, first served basis, and people applying late will have to take dormitory accommodation.

VILLAGE OUTREACH PROGRAMS:

We are also doing a lot of Village Outreach programs, especially in the field of education where we are conducting several camps throughout the year for upgrading the quality of the village school teachers and imparting value education to students.

Several doctors from Delhi and other places are invited at regular intervals to conduct medical camps for several villages around Ramgarh, where we provide free consultation and medicines.

CAMP ACTIVITIES:

* Grow spiritually by opening to the mantric power of the works of the Master and the Mother.

* Daily Meditation and Yoga, Pranayam and ‘keep-fit’ sessions.

* Walks and treks through magnificent mountain forests and enchanting scenic splendour.

IMPORTANT (Please note carefully):

* Please apply only if you are looking for a serious study and spiritual retreat.

* Book IMMEDIATELY to avoid disappointment due to heavy rush and limited seats.

* People with high blood pressure and other diseases, who have problems with high altitude and / or living at the first and second floors, and also those needing special facilities, food or care, should not apply. Any medical expenses will have to be borne by the participants themselves. There are hardly any medical facilities at the Talla Ramgarh village.

* Kindly help in circulating this leaflet widely among genuinely interested people.

Restrictions:

Nature of activities and the heights of Himalayas requires participants to be physically fit.
Those suffering from Asthma, heart and joint problems or any other conditions are advised not to enroll on the Camps.

They may spend time at Delhi Ashram, a beautiful retreat to meditate, read and join Yoga and other workshops.

Discipline: - To uphold sanctity of Place

All participants are strictly forbidden consumption or use of any of the following.
Smoking, Gurkha and tobacco, Drinking Alcohol, or Drugs throughout the Camp or Stay at Delhi Ashram.

Lodging:

Dormitary style beds with Choir or foam matting with 2 blankets. Separate for Men and Women.

FOOD:

Nutritious Vegetarian fusion due to mix of participants and culture.
